Built
as a replica of a Rajasthani fort, complete with turretts,
moat and drawbridge, Rajvilas is a haven for those
who want to be pampered and the sumptuous Spa offers
a host of exotic treatments. There's also a sauna,
cold plunge pool, gymnasium, swimming pool, jacuzzi,
croquet lawn, and tennis. Inside the fort is the grand
reseption, its design inspired from the City Palace,
with walls intricately hand painted with gold leaf.
Cross the drawbridge and you'll find two distinct
areas. The first, manicured green lawns and home to
the deluxe accommodation and spa; the second, quite
barren and site of the tented village. The deluxe
rooms are locateed in clusters and their spacious
interioirs feature a 4-poster bed, walk in dressing
room, and a marble bathroom. |
There
are also two villas with a private pool and exquisite
Royal Villa. At the edge of the main estate is the
tented village surrounded by a traditionally fashioned
Rajasthani wall - the perfect setting for luxury living
under the canvas. The lavish interiors feature hand
embroidered caopied ceilings, elegant furniture and
bathrooms with freestanding Victorian style bathtubs
and separate showers. Theres also a tented villa.
Dining is a delight and you'll enjoy the finest in
fusion cuisine - the perfect blend of east meets west.
During the high season, dinner is often served on
the terrace, romantically lit by flaming torches and
accompanied most nights by local singers and dancers.
